The South Forsyth War Eagles Varsity fell to Lambert HS 5-1 at Lambert HS.
Turner Scruggs got the win for Lambert HS. He allowed one run over 6 2/3 innings. He struck out six, walked four and surrendered three hits.
Landon Sims couldn't get it done on the mound for the South Forsyth War Eagles Varsity, taking a loss. He lasted just six innings, walked one, struck out four, and allowed five runs.
Lambert HS didn't relinquish the lead after scoring four runs in the first inning when it scored on an RBI double by Josh McAllister, a two-run home run by Griffin Jarrett, and an RBI single by Kyle McCann.
